This is an advanced and highly respected accreditation that is officially recognised as a marque of excellence by the French government. Those who pass can use the letters FWS after their name – great for your career or just to prove that you can!
It’s a rigorous and specialist course that goes into great depth about all French wine appellations and how their identities are shaped. It lasts for ten weeks and is made up of two-and-a-half-hour sessions on ten consecutive weeks with a one-hour exam at the end consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. You need to get 75% or more to pass.
We are licenced by the Wine Scholar Guild to provide this course using their materials.
